Moonlight Madness Fun Run in Freeport
Eat all the turkey and pie you want on Thanksgiving Day and run it off during our Fun Run that night, it all starts at midnight! At 12:01 AM on November 25, kickoff the Black Friday shopping season! 
That’s right! Join us on Main Street in Freeport starting at Coffee By Design to chase Santa down Main Street!.. There will be all sorts of specials and gifts in store for you …And the late night continues as shops open their doors and the sleepy little New England town swings to life! You will find ALL of the stores in the Freeport Village and the Entire Freeport Village Station OPEN AT MIDNIGHT …and you know L.L.Bean is always open! There will be specials and late night/early morning offers to suit every budget and items to suit every taste…just in time to get you in the spirit! We are looking forward to seeing you in Freeport for the Holidays! Shop til you drop -make overnight reservations at one of our many wonderful properties and get up on Friday and do it all over again! See you there -rain or shine dark!

Am I crazy??? I “think” I remember a lovely horse and buggy ride during the holiday season for people to ride through the downtown area? My grandson was too young a couple of years ago, but, now would be a “perfect” age to enjoy the ride with me (his Grandmother) his Mom and his Great Grandmother..please tell me that I’m not imagining this?
Maine Running Photos blog has been covering a number of running event for the past few years. Is this the 1st year (2011) you have offered the one mile fun run with Santa? If it was held last year do you have any photos?
I am very excited by the idea of this! I could not find where to register or who to contact. There will be two of us participating in this event. Where does it start? What time should we be there? Is it free?
