4th of July in Freeport

L.L.Bean’s Summer in the Park event kicks off on Saturday, July 2, with fun for the whole family. Festivities begin on July second  with  Ryan Shaw performing  at 7:30. On Monday  July 4th the celebration continues with the annual 10K Road Race and Family Fun Run, followed by Freeport’s Fourth of July Parade on Main Street. Red Horse will perform at 7:30pm followed by a spectacular fireworks display to cap off the day’s events.  Both concerts are free and will be performed in L.L.Bean’s Discovery Park, adjacent to the L.L.Bean Flagship Store, Freeport Maine. L.L.Bean’s Summer in the Park continues all summer long with something for everyone. Special events are planned each weekend through Labor Day—from concerts and sporting expos, to product demos and a farmer’s market—at L.L.Bean’s Flagship campus in Freeport, Maine. Highlights include:

*       Concerts every other Saturday including Ryan Shaw, Red Horse, Court Yard Hounds, Amos Lee, Rickie Lee Jones and America.
*       A weekly farmer’s market each Friday from 2pm – 5:30pm
*       Kidsfest
*       Shakespeare in the Park including a special production just for kids
*       Food Festival
*       Dog Days of August, a special event for dog lovers
